Today’s home (DIY) activity is called Yoyo Balloon, also known as Yoyo Tsuri (ヨーヨー釣り). It means Yoyo Fishing in Japanese because you have to catch the ball from a container filled with water.
This book has a nice combination of top and bottom designs for boys and girls. The sizing is for 1 years old to 9 years old child. Has a good selection of top and bottom clothes pattern.
This book is all about creating dresses.
In Japan they call dresses as “one piece”. When I was smaller I loved wearing dresses but as I’ve grown up, now I prefer the comfort of pants. I brought this book, so I can make the dresses I would like to wear.
When I first came across this series I was excited because it was a magazine that was dedicated to EGL outfits. Gothic & Lolita Bible is nice to look through, but the pattern tutorials were more for bags or accessories.
Recently I've been making otedama bags. It's like happy sacks, a small bag filled with beans. It can be used for juggling or to play a game which is similar to jacks. Otedama is a Japanese children's game, which uses 5 bags.
A week ago I made a obi for a friend's daughter. They brought a yukata without a belt, so I made one for them!
